Supplier questions / evidence requests

Microneedle acne patch close up: sourcing review

Turn a visual reference into a written factory brief. Ask what the photograph shows, which product it depicts and which construction details still need confirmation.

We coordinate purchasing questions independently. A close-up image cannot establish an ingredient, a dimension without scale, a manufacturing capability or product suitability.

Four handoffs for a usable supplier reply

  1. Describe the requested construction

Identify the patch material, adhesive, backing, diameter and thickness. For a microneedle configuration, request the supplier's exact construction description and relevant ingredient declaration. Distinguish your target from an acceptable alternative; keep unanswered attributes visibly open.

  2. Set the commercial quantity

Give patches per pouch, pouches per retail pack and quantity by variant. Confirm whether the factory's minimum order applies to each size, packaging artwork or the combined order. Include the receiving location in the US so freight scope can be discussed on a common basis.

  3. Agree the sample question

Decide whether a sample is needed to inspect dimensions, surface appearance, packaging or handling. Ask the supplier to identify the sample revision and any difference from proposed production. Wear conditions, warnings and evidence requirements need their own written answers.

  4. Return exceptions for buyer approval

Normalize currency, quoted unit, packaging, tooling and delivery exclusions. If an alternative changes the brief, send it back as an explicit decision. Buyer approval should refer to the same specification revision as the quote rather than a general product-family name.

Keep the evidence trail readable

  1. Record the buyer baseline

Your written dimensions, pack definition, destination and approved artwork form the comparison baseline. Public product references can help identify questions, but their specifications are not automatically transferred to another manufacturer's offered item.

  2. Check source and revision

Record the source, date and revision of each reply. Separate the factory's statement from a buyer observation or a qualified review so later changes remain traceable.

  3. Request exact-model confirmation

Request composition, adhesive and wear instructions, packaging information and any required exact-product documents. Ask who issued a document and what product and scope it covers before treating it as relevant.

  4. Return decisions to the buyer

Sourcing coordination does not establish a medical outcome or replace regulatory review. There is no implied inventory, supplier approval or fixed lead time. Use the order brief to record outstanding decisions.

Send a reference with its purchasing questions

Describe the patch specification, quantity basis, US destination, requested timing and document scope. Budget and supplier preferences may be included as optional comparison inputs.
